It's a great day to be a Bruin!  If today is your birthday, we would like to say Happy Birthday to you and we hope your day is amazing.  Make it a great day, East Hardin, and be a Beast!

PLEASE NOTE!  The Lost and found will be cleaned out TODAY!  If you are missing something, you need to get it before it’s gone!  

Academic Team members:   6th grade showcase is this Saturday at 9:00 at West Hardin. 

Band students:
7th Grade Band Rehearsal Monday, Dec. 4 after school until 4:45pm   (come to the band room after all buses have been released)
6th Grade Band Rehearsal Tuesday, Dec. 5 after school until 4:45pm   (come to the band room after all buses have been released)

 

Big news, students! With the level of excitement for the 2024 trip to London, Paris and Rome, Mr. Calhoun is opening up a trip in 2025 to GREECE! Stop by his classroom in the upstairs 6th grade hallway to pick up more information.

If you would like to donate to Wreaths Across America, each wreath costs $17- Please give any donations to Mrs. Blackstone by Tuesday, November 28 (TOMORROW).  The wreaths will be placed on veterans' graves for Christmas! If you have any questions, please email Delana Blackstone (delana.blackstone@hardin.kyschools.us). 

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will meet every Wednesday morning from 7:00-7:45 a.m. in the FLEX room.  

The Hardin County Conservation District would like to announce the 2023 Jim Claypool Writing Contest. Each year the Division of Conservation along with the Kentucky Farm Bureau sponsors the contest. The writing contest is designed for 6th through 12th-grade students. This year's theme is Wildlife.  The title of the contest is "Keeping it Wild."  Prizes will be awarded at the State, County, and School levels.   If you are interested in participating, please see Mrs. Garrett in the 6th grade hallway to get more information.  Entries must be turned in to Mrs. Garrett by Tuesday, November 21st, 2023.

12 service hours are due to Mrs. Williams before Christmas Break. 

The academic team is in need of sodas for hosting an upcoming event.  1 case of soda = 1 hour. Those can be taken to Ms. Blankenship's room.  The archery team is also in need of sodas for an upcoming tournament.  1 case of soda = 1 hour. Those can be taken to Mrs. Hazle.  All donations are due by next Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Congratulations to our 6th, 7th and 8th grade basketball teams on their wins against JTA last night!  Great job!!

Good luck to our Archery team at their tournament tomorrow at John Hardin.

The Central Hardin Track and Field team will be hosting a parent/athlete meeting on Tuesday, December 5th, in the Central Hardin Commons Area at 6 pm. This meeting is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th students who are interested in learning more about Track and Field.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 - 6 pm Central Hardin Lady Bruins softball will be conditioning at Central Hardin. To participate, you need a current KHSAA sports physical and you must be a 7th or 8th grader.

Students, you can purchase advance tickets here at school for any home game.  You can purchase those in the main office for $2.00.  If you wait and purchase your ticket at the gate, it is $5.00, so take advantage of this great deal!   Game schedules are posted on our Living Calendar.
